John Kelting
Chair of New Business Committee
John Kelting joined the Housing Finance Corporation Board in July 2026. He is active across Impact Investing through a number of roles, including Chief Credit Officer at British International Investment where he Chairs the Investment Committee, as a Founder and Trustee of two NGOs active in education in Rwanda and Uganda, and through other Board and Investment Committee roles. Prior to his roles in impact investing, he spent over 20 years in Investment and Corporate Banking, including as a member of Barclays Corporate Executive Committee with responsibility for the bank’s global debt, trade, cash management and derivatives businesses.
He holds a BA in Economics, an MA in Finance and Investment and an MSc in International Development.
