Overview
A low cost, alternative to revolving credit facilities, providing fast and flexible access to capital when it’s needed.
Our instalment fee facility gives housing associations access to capital for up to 36 months, with full flexibility to draw funds as and when required. Once the loan documentation is completed, the facility is fully committed and is secured by a smaller annual fee until the bond is priced, rather than a single upfront arrangement fee. This structure enables rapid access to fixed-rate debt precisely at the point it is needed.
Any instalment fees paid are deducted from the final arrangement fee at drawdown, lowering the overall cost of maintaining this standby liquidity. The facility qualifies as cost‑effective “top slice” liquidity for Quarterly Financial Regulatory Survey reporting, once documentation is in place and security has been charged, and can sit alongside other credit lines within an association’s liquidity framework.
Key Features
A 0.10% arrangement fee is payable when you sign the loan documents for up to 36 months. Extensions can be arranged as needed, with an additional 0.10% fee for each extension. Net-off fees already paid against the final arrangement fee at drawdown.
